This correspondence serves to remind you of the grand opening Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the Albizu University Graduate Student Center, (GSC), September 3, 2024, 6:00 pm ET. Please see details on the attached flyer. The event will also be livestreamed. Remote faculty, students and community may view the streaming by accessing Albizu University Miami Campus on Facebook, click the live link, and join us. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in Albizu University’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive academic environment, and enhancing the graduate student experience on campus, and with our community.
This student-centered space is conducive to thriving academically, as well as personally. Here, is a sampling of a wide array of services and resources dedicated to student success.
- Tutoring and Academic Support: Experienced tutors are ready to assist in pursuit of each student’s full potential.
- Community and Collaboration: We have created a welcoming space advantageous to studying, networking, and/or collaborating.
- Mental Health in our Community: Mental health professionals in Albizu University’s Goodman Clinic provide graduate interns a hands-on learning environment as they work with clinicians treating members of the broader community.
- Other Resources: The center is designed and equipped to provide career opportunities, working collaboratively, with writing and research assistance, and provides spaces for self-care.
