Congratulations to Rita Rivera, President of AU Student Council and PsyD student on her election as Chair of the Florida Psychological Association, Graduate Student Division. As chair, Rita will have voting rights with the association. This is a great honor that we celebrate and for which I am certain that our founder, Dr. Carlos Albizu Miranda would be proud of. Rita represents a body of emerging psychologists in training who are aware of the needs of our society and who collaborate with peers, faculty, and administrators to advance equity, knowledge, and social justice in our communities. Rita will not only represent the voices of her colleagues but will also bring a new and timely perspective to the chairmanship. We are all very proud of Rita!
