I am very happy to announce that Albizu University’s 6th Annual South Florida Student Research Symposium, hosted virtually on June 11, 2022, from 10 am-1 pm and was a great success. This year we are pleased to have had participants not only from Albizu University, but also from Florida International University, Nova Southeastern University, the University of Panama, and one submission was in conjunction with students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The purpose of this symposium was to promote the development of research by students and to provide an opportunity for the preparation and presentation of scholarly work by students and faculty. Research topics included a variety of Psychological and Educational subjects. There were 11 presentations of which 3 were granted awards for excellence in scholarship (see below). Attached is the program with more details about each submission. Special thanks to Dr. Amanda Giust for collaborating with the Office of Student Affairs and Student Council in organizing and hosting this special event. I also want to congratulate Rita Rivera for her outstanding keynote address and appreciate all the faculty who sponsored student submissions. See the attached program for more details and note that the award winners are mentioned in the graphic below.

Congratulations to all our student researchers, we are very proud of you!
