Division 34’s Second Annual Online Conference will be held October 19-20, 2023.   This year’s theme is “From Local to Global: Diverse Perspectives on Social, Environmental, and Individual Well-Being”   Now is a perfect time to propose research to be featured in this conference! A call for abstracts will be sent out later this month. The conference will be organized around four broad topics: Sustainable resource use (individual attitudes and behavior, climate change mitigation, consumption, pollution) Shifting societal behavior (support for climate policies, advocacy, sustainable communities) Preparing for a hotter world (mental health effects of climate change, adaptation, environmental justice, climate migration) Healthy communities through design (health impacts of natural, built, and urban environments; inclusive design; urban design and regeneration)
