Dr. Sharrie R. Dean, Albizu University, Interim Chancellor, Miami, working in Puerto Rico, attending President Soto’s Leadership workshop, and the Board of Trustees Meeting. Dr. Julio Santana’s (Chancellor PR) Executive Committee meeting was informative. The week also included walking throughout Campus and chatting with students! Additionally, meetings with Dean Carmen Rivera Laboy (Dean of Student Affairs), Chief Rosa Belvis, Chief Jose Llorens, and many others. Most exciting was being a part of the Title I PPOHA provided, Library Renovation and Graduate Student Center reveal; and special lunch provided by Dean Rivera Laboy; and the “student-star-studded-red-carpet” Leadership event.
